G.J. (Gooitske) Nijboer

Gooitske Nijboer is a PhD candidate in Early Modern History at the University of Groningen. She obtained an M.A. (cum laude) in Classical, Medieval and Early Modern Studies, as well as a B.A. in History, both at the University of Groningen. During her studies she was a visiting graduate student at the Divinity School of the University of Chicago, and an exchange student at the Université Sorbonne IV. She has taught two B.A. History courses at the University of Groningen and coordinated the training programme for PhD candidates at the Graduate School for the Humanities.
