Sustainable Entrepreneurship | Circular Economy | Societal Transitions
Director of the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture Transition

The Center for Sustainable Agriculture Transition (CSAT) is working toward an agricultural system that is ecologically sustainable, socially just, and economically viable. And that starts with collaboration. CSAT is the crossroads where science and practice come together, where innovative ideas are translated into feasible and practical solutions. We are working toward a fair food system in which all stakeholders move forward together. For an agriculture sector with a future. For farmers, the soil, and society as a whole.

The team conducts a broad range of scientific research, covering topics from individual behavior to strategy, business models, external relations, public policy, ecology and nature, multiple value creation, and systemic transitions. The team also manages all aspects of successfully supporting farmers, supply-chain partners, and regions, including business development plans, performance indicators, and coaching.

Because farmers deserve better—ecologically, economically, and socially.
