Expertise
I support researchers in the valorization of scientific knowledge to enhance the societal impact of the RUG. This domain is part of the Research & Impact (R&I) cluster. The activities within this domain include stimulating entrepreneurship, providing advice and support on intellectual property issues, coaching and training in the development of a business to bring knowledge to the market, and linking to startup funding opportunities. As the head of the domain I aim to strengthen the cohesion within the domain to provide effective support and ensure visibility. I also aim to enhance collaboration with the faculties and the ecosystem for startups and scale-ups. Finally, I want to identify ways to amplify non-market-related impact, linked to areas such as social entrepreneurship and linked to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
