Elizabeth Marteijn is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Middle Eastern Studies of the University of Groningen specializing in het modern history of Middle Eastern Christianity. Her research and teaching interests include World Christianity, contextual theology, ethnographic theology, rituality, (forced) displacement, and the histories of Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon. She holds a PhD from the School of Divinity of the University of Edinburgh with a thesis on Christian thought and practice in West Bank Palestine.
