Projects I currently work on:

  • Durganand Sinha and the role of psychology in Indian (rural) development planning, c. 1950s and 1960s.
  • FAO in India and British-Malaya, 1947-1960.
  • Decolonization in South and Southeast Asia as a "structuring event".
  • Writing history in light of the apocalypse: Hiroshima & the climate crisis.
  • Transnational history of secularism in Asia since 1945.
