My broad interest is to better understand how people respond to transgressions in the social and political domains from their value and belief systems. I incorporate in my work different insights and methods from social, political, and developmental psychology, as well as from emotion research. My research lies in three main lines: 1. The nature and development of hate feelings. 2. The interaction between individual and cultural factors in moral behavior. and 3. The role of dehumanization and political culture in post-conflict settings
