A.N. (Aljoscha) Sander

Aljoscha is interested in all things wind energy, with a focus on the installation of turbines, both off- and onshore. As a researcher at University of Bremen he participates in various ForWind research activities. As a PhD candidate at the energy and sustainability research institute in Groningen (ESRIG), he is investigating the behaviour of offshore wind turbines during installation. Aljoscha holds a Master of Science in Biomimetics from the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen, where he discovered his love for transient fluid dynamics. Together with a colleague, he co-founded a startup that aims at improving single blade installation.
