Since 2015 I have been a researcher at the University of Groningen. Currently my main activity is the European Project XCycle, where safety and comfort systems for cyclists are developed and evaluated. Such as a green light planner for cyclists and intelligent risk assessment based on predicted behavior of cyclists and vehicles.
From 2011 to 2015 I have done research at TNO, looking into innovative systems within the mobility domain within the department of Perceptual and Cognitive Systems.
From 2007 to 2011 I was a PhD student at the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences (Department of Neuropsychology / Experimental Psychology) with the subject of analysis of psychophysiology for adaptive support.
