A.L. (Ana) Figueiredo Leal, PhD

I am a PhD student in social psychology at the University of Groningen, under the supervision of Prof. Martijn van Zomeren, Prof. Ernestine Gordijn, Dr. Michal Reifen-Tagar (IDC Herzliya, Israel) and Prof. Eran Halperin (IDC Herzliya, Israel).

I completed my BA in psychological sciences at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), and my MSc in social psychology (cum laude) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Additionally, I worked for several NGOs and schools in the Global South for two years, where I developed and implemented intervention programs in women’s empowerment, education and healthcare.
