A.G. van Assen, MSc
I obtained my bachelors degree in pedagogical sciences from the University of Groningen in 2013. In 2014 I obtained my masters degree in educational sciences (cum laude). In 2015 I graduated from the Research Master Behavioural and Social Sciences. Since september 2015 I work as a PhD-candidate at the department of orthopedagogiek (special needs care and education) at the University of Groningen. I'm especially interested in the societal task of youth care and education. My research is focused at the effects of a youth-care intervention for children and teenagers in multi-problem families. Furthermore I am active as a board member of the EUSARF Academy, a network for young researchers in the field of child and family care.
