dr. A.A. (Abdul) Erumban

Short Profile 

Abdul Erumban teaches and researches at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen. Formerly, he was a senior economist at the Conference Board (Europe), where he continues as a Senior Research Fellow. He received his Masters degree in Development Economics from University of Calicut, India, M.Phil in Applied Economics from Centre for Development Studies (Jawaharlal Nehru University), India and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Groningen. His research centers on the fields of productivity, technological change, structural change, impact of digital transformation, ICT, and intangibles on growth and productivity, globalization, global value chain, and international comparisons of economic development.
