Animation

AV Content - Animation creates animations in a range of shapes and sizes. Animation is suited for communicating about almost every topic as you can use it to convey information in an accessible manner. Animation allows you to discuss topics that are very difficult to film regularly, such as visualizing the micro world, medical research global development, spacial planning or data visualizations.

Process

  1. Intake
  2. Submitting a script
  3. Plan of action
  4. Deciding the visual style
  5. Creating a storyboard
  6. Animate
  7. Adding a voice-over, sound effects and music
  8. Final product

The proces of creating animation always starts with an intake in which we discuss your ideas and wishes for the prjoect. Next we write a script, make a plan of action, and send you the estimated cost.

After the estimated costs have been approved, we develop a visual style for the animation. Subsequently, the animation style will be perfected in a storyboard where all the scenes are depicted. At this time we will also choose the voice used in the voice-over.

Once you are happy with the concept, we will animate the illustrations and layer it with the voice-over, sound effects and music into one complete video.

Types of Animation

There are different types of animation that you can use in your video. Below you can find an overview of the types that we most often produce. Are you unsure what type of animation best suits your project? Please contact us.

2D Animation

This is the most used type of animation. 2D animation consists of moving illustrations and text, which lends itself for nearly every topic.

Presentor in studio with animation

In this type of animation we combine a presentation with animations. In this case a speaker comes into the green screen studio to give a presentation in front of a camera. Afterwards, we add backgrolunds an animations to the video that enhance or help explain the narrative.

Animation for an event (live visuals)

By using visuals an event will appear more professional and recognizable, for example by using title screens, moving wallpapers, bumpers (animations that transition from one topic to the next) and intros and outros.

Additionally, we can edit the images and texts submitted by keynote speakers tso they are in line with the house style of the event. We work using the house style you supplemented or can develop a house style for your event.

Titles

An animated title in a video—for example a name bar or typography that is integrated into the video—creates an individual video style and provides structure to the video.
