Photography
At AV Content - Photography, we focus on portraits, event photography and promotional photos. We can be hired to make representative portraits, for the visuals of an event or visual material for that can be used in communciation and marketing.
Portraits
There are different types of portrait photography available. Depending on your goal—using it on the website, internal communication, or during events—you can choose for individual portraits, group portraits or a setting with a photobooth.
Individual portraits
Individual portraits can be shot in a studio setting or on location. The background and lighting will be adjusted to the desired portrait style (formal, informal, creative) and we offer coaching during the session for an natural pose.
Per individual we send over at least two portraits within two working days that have been edited with special attention to the colours, lighting and retouching.
Group photos
Group portraits can be shot of groups of varying sizes. We photograph inside and outside and keep colouring, light and the location in mind. It is possible to combine group portraits with individual portraits. Per photographed group, we send over at least two portraits withing two working days.
Photobooth
By using a photobooth, you can photograph multiple people individually quickly and efficiently. The background and lighting of the photobooth are predetermined in order to guarantee consistancy.
Per person, we send over at least two photos within two working days. The photos can be sent to the individual or as a larger folder to the organizer of the photo session.
Examples
Event Photos
Event photography focuses on documenting gatherings, celebrations or other (formal) events. The photos can be used for social media posts, internal and external communication and other types of publications. Based on the goal, multiple moments and situations can be documented during the session.
Atmospheric images
Atmospheric images capture the tone and energie of an event, for example by documenting the interaction between guests, speakers or participants. On average the atmospheric images are ready within two working days, with a minimum of 10 photos per hour booked.
Winners and award ceremonies
We take photos of award ceremonies, congratulations, and podium moments, but also individual portraits or group photos of winners for example.
Group photos during events
Group photos during events are usually spurr of the moment photos of the attendees. This type of photography is flexible in setting and composition.
Official ceremonies
During important events, we document the signing of agreements, diplomas and letters of intent. Examples of these types of events include openings, unveilings or other ceremonial acts.

Promotional photography
Promotional photography can be used to present an organization, service or location in an attractive and thoughtful manner. The photographs are (often) staged, carefully lit and targeted for communication through the website, social media, printing and campaignes. The photography is tailored to the desired effect and target audience.
People
Professionally directed portraits and/or action shots of individuals as well as smaller groups in a specific context (for example on campus, while studying, during researching etc.). For this type of photography we pay extra attention to clothing, posture and location in line with the promotional goal.
Locations and Buildings
We photograph the interior and exterior of (UG) buildings, keeping the composition and lighting in mind. We also offer a service for styling the space beforehand (cleaning, possible decorating and lighting).
Images for printing or online media
We take into account that the images are optimized for different formats and media, such as use in banners, flyers, brochures, online advertisements, and presentations. We ensure a consistent visual style that is in line with the UG house style.
