Dungeons and Dragons

Following the great success of the last D&D workshop in July, we organise a new D&D workshop.
Once again open for all academic and support staff from the UG and UMCG. The aim of the afternoon is to create a space to meet new colleagues from all over the University, to make further collaboration between faculties and disciplines easier.
We are going to play the famous Dungeons & Dragons. Through clever strategies and rolling -oddly shaped- dice your group will persevere in a world of magic and wonder. Through your actions and dice rolls you create the story. As the previous event wonderfully showed, you really get to know people, while you all pretend to be someone else.
This event will be an entry-level D&D game, very suitable for participants who never have played the game. The mechanics will be easy and fun to play, whether you are a grizzled veteran or completely new to the game.
We look forward to a wonderful afternoon. And we hope we will see you there too! So strap on your adventure-boots and join us!
The maximum amount of participants will be dependent on the amount of GM’s (group leaders) we can find. The current expectation is to have about 40 to 50 participants. If you are or know a GM who would be willing to run a game during this event, we would love to hear from you, please email c.s.joglekar@rug.nl
