Ask an XR Expert

Need support for your research or education project? Ask an XR Expert to help you integrate XR into your research or education design. They are happy to show you how XR technology enables research that would otherwise be impossible, or how to train skills that you would otherwise be unable to train effectively. UG staff members may utilize up to 16 hours of support from the Visualization team via “Ask a XR Expert”.

Examples of support:

• Brainstorming whether a research design is feasible using an XR application. A calculation of the development hours for a custom application for a grant application.
• Support during the administration of a study where XR applications are used with participants.
• Brainstorming whether a specific skill can be trained using an XR application and how this could be implemented. A calculation of the development hours for a custom application for a grant application.
• A practical lesson with examples of XR applications for students
