High turnout for first practice session of digital exams in the Aletta Jacobshal

On 8 October, nearly 200 students took a look at the digital exam room in the Aletta Jacobs Hall. In preparation for the upcoming exam period, they took advantage of the opportunity to practice taking digital exams.
In the run-up to the exam period, the Assessment Support team of the CIT Education domain organises two practice sessions for new students, giving them the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various digital exam formats on the test computers. This can save a lot of stress during the actual digital exam, allowing students to better focus on the exam content.
Faculty-independent
The practice sessions are independent of faculty and subjects, but focus purely on exploring the digital exam environment. Students do not see practice exams or content from their courses, but they will be given examples of how the exam environment works. Lecturers who are interested in experiencing what it is like to take a digital exam as a student also have the opportunity to practice.
Special Provisions Exam Room (SPER)
A second practice session is scheduled for Tuesday 14 October between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. It wil also be possible to visit the Special Provisions Exam Room (SPER). This is a special exam room designed for students who acquire extra support due to, for example, a chronic illness or functional impairment.
Students (and lecturers) can register via Brightspace.
