What is a web class?

The University of Groningen organizes Web Classes twice a year. These Web Classes are designed to give you a peak into the freshmen year of a study, and helps you to make a well-considered study choice.

How does it work?

In 4 weeks you will get 4 assignments which will take about 2-3 hours each. These assignments can be completed by reading articles, checking some videos, scientific papers and discussing with your fellow students and the teacher. Web classes are starting in november and march.

If you finished the web class with sufficient grades, you will receive a certificate. Sometimes you can use this for study hours at school. However, if you want to do that, you have to arrange this by yourself. You can ask a teacher to enroll in the course so he/she can see what happens in the webclass.

When is the next web class starting?

The webclasses start in March and November. The exact dates will be announced on the website of the pre university college.
