Thousands visit Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences on Open Day
The University of Groningen held its Open Day for prospective students on Friday 31 January. There were around 3000 registrations to visit the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, though the number of actual visitors was lower, as some had registered for more than one degree programme. At the busiest point in the day, there were about 1500 prospective students and their parents at the Faculty.
Alongside the Open Day, there are various other opportunities to find out more about a degree programme, such as the Student for a Day programme. You can also follow a month-long taster course, which is taught as a web class.
