Meet up at 3D HUB
On May 22nd, Science LinX organised an informal gathering around the 3D HUB in the Bernoulliborg. For several weeks a 3D printer has been printing objects suggested by RUG students and researchers. Alongside the HUB is an exhibit of various applications of 3D printing technology in education and research.
During the 'meetup', several RUG researchers gave short presentations about their projects and and how 3D printing is applied in their research. The evening was concluded with drinks and lively conversation.
The 3D printer will move to the Church of Science for the Night of Art and Science on June 6th, after which it will reside at FabLab Groningen. In the fall the 3d HUB will return to the Bernoulliborg as part of the temporary Future Proof exhibit.
