The registration for the Vlieland meeting 2026 is now open. Please use the button below for the registration form, register and submit your abstract at the same time before 17 April.

Registration and submission of your abstract will be done through the registration form. Use the following templates in Word or LaTex to write your 1-page abstract. Save your abstract as pdf (max. 10 MB) and name it ‘familyname_abstract.pdf'.

For the poster flash presentation, one slide in pdf format only (no clicks, aspect ratio 4:3, max. size 100 MB). If you wish to have an animation, do embed it in the pdf document before uploading. The file must be named as ‘familyname_flash.pdf’ . Upload your poster-flash via the submission form button below by 29 May, 23:59 h.

The biennial meeting is organized by the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials. The conference is open to all staff members, PhD students, postdocs, technicians and scientists working in the research units of the Zernike Institute as well as the Stratingh Institute for Chemistry and the Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute.

In case of no-show without a good reason your group will be charged for the costs.
