New PhD funding for Huntington’s disease research of Patrick van der Wel

Prof. Patrick van der Wel has received funding from Campagneteam Huntington for one PhD position starting in 2026.

The project focuses on understanding the molecular processes that go wrong in Huntington’s disease and will be executed in collaboration with Prof. Amalia Dolga from GRIP. This fundamental insight is a crucial step toward enabling future therapeutic strategies.
