Bart van Wees receives Spinoza Award during ceremony in The Hague
On Tuesday, September 13th, Bart van Wees, Lodi Nauta, Wilhelm Huck en Mihai Netea received the Spinoza prizes from Secretary of State for Education, Culture and Science Sander Dekker and NWO chair Jos Engelen. During the ceremony all laureates gave insights in their future research plans and how they plan to spent the premium. Zernike Institute researcher Bart van Wees aims to use the premium to make and study new materials and devices based on two-dimensional systems.
