How to reach the Zernike complex
|

By public transport:
If you arrive by plane at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, you can take a direct train from the airport to Groningen Central station, which takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. An international planner to plan your journey by train can be found on the web site of the Dutch Railroad Company .
At Groningen Central station you can take a

regular taxi: Ask the driver to take you to the Zernike complex, Nijenborgh 4. |

|
bus: Buses No. 11 and 15 take you to the Zernike complex. The bus stops are marked on the map of the Zernike complex.

By car:
If you come from the south (direction Zwolle, Assen, on A28), continue to the end of the motorway (Julianaplein). Turn left at the traffic lights (follow the signs "Zuidhorn", "Bedum"). Take the first exit on the right (after 200 m) following the signs "Zuidhorn", "Bedum". Turn right at the end of the exit. You are now on the western ringroad around Groningen, which you follow for about 3 km. Keep right and when there is a split with one way going to "Zuidhorn" and one to "Bedum", take the right one to "Bedum", going up the bridge over the canal. You are now on the northern ringroad around Groningen. Keep right and take the first exit on the right (after 300 m). At the end of the exit turn left, pass underneath the ringroad and after another 100 m you enter the Zernike complex. Take the second street on the right and then the first street on the left to park your car in the car park, which is marked on the map of the Zernike complex.
If you come from the west (direction Leeuwarden, on A7), take the exit "Groningen West" (before the Julianaplein, which is the junction of the A28 and the A7) and follow the signs "Zuidhorn", "Bedum". Turn right at the end of the exit. You are now on a roundabout. Take the third exit on the right (the first on the right after passing underneath the motorway). You are now on the western ringroad around Groningen, which you follow for about 3 km. Continue following the instructions as described above.
If you come from the east (direction Hoogezand, on A7), drive to the Julianaplein (junction of A28 and A7). Drive straight on at the traffic lights and follow the signs for "Zuidhorn", "Bedum". Then continue following the instructions as described above.
