We are excited to announce the publication of the article "A neuromorphic processor with on-chip learning for beyond-CMOS device integration" in Nature Communications. This high-impact journal highlights important advances across all areas of the natural sciences, including innovative breakthroughs in neuromorphic engineering.

The paper, authored by Hugh Greatorex, Ole Richter, Michele Mastella, Madison Cotteret, Philipp Klein, Maxime Fabre, Arianna Rubino, Willian Soares Girão, Junren Chen, Martin Ziegler, Laura Bégon-Lours, Giacomo Indiveri, and Elisabetta Chicca, introduces a novel mixed-signal neuromorphic processor designed to integrate emerging two- and three-terminal devices with on-chip learning capabilities.

By providing a testbed for evaluating how cutting-edge memory technologies can work with CMOS circuitry, the chip aims to bridge the gap between brain-inspired computation and the latest advances in materials science. The work showcases successful integration through extensive measurements and simulations, marking a critical step toward scalable, flexible neuromorphic systems.
