Grand opening computer cluster

The grand opening of our new computer cluster took place yesterday, with lots of beers and air-fried "bitterballs" (Dutch delicacy). Now we only need to get the beast to work ..

Here a picture of the namegiver of the cluster, emeritus Professor Wim Nieuwpoort (right), together with the namegiver of our center, emeritus Professor Herman Berendsen (left), both present during the festivities and contemplating about the immense compute power of our new cluster .. remembering those days of the VAX machine ..
