Dear colleagues and friends of the Young Academy Groningen,
The Young Academy Groningen (YAG) invites you to the formal opening of the House of Connections at the Grote Markt. A place where we will work together with citizens, businesses, and government institutions to find innovative solutions to societal issues. The Young Academy Groningen (YAG) brings its expertise, innovative ideas, and experience in the fields of outreach and interdisciplinary research to this endeavor.
YAG will kick-off the festive opening week on Wednesday, June 21, from 9.00 - 12.00 hrs. We warmly invite you to participate in our interactive programme where you can exchange and develop ideas and explore new ways to collaborate by making unexpected connections!

Outline of the interactive program:
- 9.15 - 9.30: Walk in and Meet & Greet the YAG
- 9.30: Welcome and formal opening by the YAG chair
- 9.35 - 10.30: Round table discussions
- We invite you to join one of the tables where topics related to the four YAG's working groups are discussed.
- 10.45 - 11.50: Speed dates for Early Career Researchers, PhD's, YAG members and other attendees
- 12.00: Closing
