Non-relativistic limits versus Carroll limits
Abstract:
We will discuss the non-relativistic limits of relativistic particles, strings, p-branes. We will also introduce the corresponding Carrollian limits of the same objects. Finally we will study the differences and similarities of the associated dynamical objects.
