Title:

Three Dimensional Bigravity as a New Model for AdS/CFT Extensions

Abstract:

In this talk we will show that a particular three-dimensional bigravity theory, dubbed as Zwei-Dreibein Gravity (ZDG) can provide a new arena to test AdS/CFT extensions, like non-AdS holography. In order to do that, first of all, some important aspects of three-dimensional gravity, and specially of massive gravity theories, will be presented. Also we will give some important results from AdS/CFT in three dimensions, and we will review some important and useful applications of holography. From the holographic point of view, most of the three-dimensional massive gravity are not consistent, i.e. these theries cannot achieve unitarity for the bulk gravity theory and for the dual boundary field theory at the same time (the so-called "bulk-boundary clash"). Remarkably, ZDG can solve this issue, since formulated on AdS space, it gives pertubately propagating unitary massive gravitons and a positive central charge for the boundary CFT. On the other hand, we will also see that ZDG has a critical point in its parameter space, in which weaker asymptotically boundary conditions can be imposed. At this particular point logarithmic AdS waves are allowed, which suggest that critical ZDG could be dual to Logarithmic CFT. Interestingly, it will be showed that ZDG provides a new model for non-AdS holography, since it contains as exact solutions Warped AdS, Schroedinger and Lifshitz spaces. All these geometries were conjectured to be gravity duals of non-relativistic field theories.
