April 2017, Fanny Janssen presented joint research with Joop de Beer (NIDI) on the future of life expectancy in the Netherlands to King Willem-Alexander. The King of the Netherlands visited the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI), a research institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), in his capacity as patron of the KNAW.
