Science and Society Group (SSG)

The mission of the Science & Society Group is bridging sciences and social contexts. This is expressed in the following 4 core activities:

  • Research into the relation between science and society.

  • Provision of bachelor training on the subjects of science development and its societal aspects, including the running of the WETEM program and the minor called ‘Future Planet Innovation'.

  • Provision of master training, in particular in the track M-variant “Science, Business and Policy”, which offers master students the possibility to put their research topic in societal context.
