Now hiring: Programme Manager Open Science (0.5 FTE)

Do you share our passion for open science?

As the new Programme Manager Open Science, you are expected to contribute to the UG mission through your active involvement in various activities. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • help implement the proposed open science projects and deliverables
  • advocate for, support and initiate the further development of the open science movement within the UG
  • create and monitor Key Performance Indicators
  • periodically update relevant stakeholders on the progress of the open science implementation at the UG
  • chair meetings with pillar leaders and collaborate with several partners, centers and domains within the UG
  • control budget expenses in AFAS with the support of a project controller
  • actively look for funding opportunities and write and/or coordinate application to these calls
  • represent the UG in various national and international collaborations related to open science
  • initiate and actively participate in conferences and open science festivals as a representative of the UG.
