Practicalities

Open for all students

The minor Future Planet Innovation is open for students from all faculties of the University of Groningen. Also students from outside Groningen including students from outside the Netherlands, are welcome! It does not matter whether you follow a major in economics or international business, physics or philosophy, history or biology. Actually, we prefer a diversity of backgrounds, since sustainability issues are highly complex and solutions can only thrive with extensive collaboration. You will therefore also learn how to integrate the topic of sustainability within your own disciplinary background.

The minor is a complete program, that perfectly fits in each curriculum. This means that the education is tailor-made for a broad audience. The level of ambition of this minor is quite high. This requires your dedication; we expect you to be present at the lectures and contribute actively to the (group-) assignments.

Registration

The registration opens right after the Minor Fair that is organised in the second half of May. Please visit the UG Minor webpage for more information about the Minor Fair.

NB! The registration for the university minors will take place via Ocasys this year.

More information about the sign-up procedure and enrollment deadlines can be found on the Minor Registration Procedure webpage.

Do you follow your major at another university? No problem! You can contact the Student Information and Administration for more information on the enrollment procedure.
