The Summer School of Global Health is an intensive 10-day programme that brings together students and early-career professionals from all over the world who share a strong interest in global health.

Running from 9 July to 17 July 2026, the programme offers a dynamic mix of interactive lectures, workshops, and group discussions, led by experts in the field. Participants will engage with pressing global health challenges while exchanging perspectives in an international and interdisciplinary learning environment.

During the 2026 edition, the programme will cover topics such as:

  • Environmental health
  • Health economics
  • Digitalisation of health
  • Strengthening healthcare systems
  • Reproductive and maternal health

Alongside the academic programme, a variety of social and cultural activities will be organised. These activities provide plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow participants, share experiences, and build a strong international network.

The Summer School offers a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and grow both academically and personally while being part of a diverse and inspiring global health community.

Learning Outcomes

After this course you will be able to:

1. Identify current problems in international healthcare and elaborate on these in the context of one’s own country

2. Formulate solutions to global health care problems on a small scale

3. Elaborate on important global health topics, such as access to care, infectious disease, reproductive health and mental health care
