The Medical Sciences Summer Schools Groningen 2026
The Medical Sciences Summer School Groningen program exists since 1990, and covers a wide range of medical disciplines.
The aim is to provide international students and young researchers with a highly stimulating environment and increase their knowledge in specific research areas of medicine and biomedical sciences.
The Medical Sciences Summer School Groningen programme is an initiative of the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG).
For 2026 the following Summer Schools are in preparation:
- Acute Medicine (not yet confirmed)
- Cardiology (new! 6 – 10 July 2026)
- Data Science & AI in Health (20 June – 3 July 2026)
- Global Health (not yet confirmed)
- Industrial Perspectives on Innovative Medicine
- Oncology (biannually; dates tba)
- Orthopaedics and Trauma (6 – 10 July 2026)
- Psychedelic Research (6 – 10 July 2026)
- Transplantation Medicine (6 – 9 June 2026)
