Videos on Lifelong Learning: the stories of Susan, Julius and Deo

24 March 2022

The stories of Susan, Julius and Deo provide a powerful example of how building the Uganda-made apparel industry and guiding women towards meaningful (self)employment through vocational training can go hand in hand (Susan), how education, training and work can go hand in hand (Julius) and how collaborating with and learning from others can support the growth of career paths, even without a University degree (Deo).

These videos are made by EyeOpenerWorks for the UNESCO Chair on Lifelong Learning. The UNESCO Chair is established to contribute to the capacity building of academic staff of universities, vocational institutions and partner NGOs in the areas of participatory research methodologies, as well as theoretical and practical concepts in lifelong, vocational education and career guidance.
