About the workshop
According to the EU Commission, Korea is EU’s eighth largest export destination of goods and the EU is Korea’s third largest export destination. Since Korea and the EU have signed the free trade agreement (FTA), which came into effect at the end of 2011, the economic and political relationship between two entities has become only stronger.

This workshop is part of a one-year research project “Economic, political and legal
influences on Korea-EU economic diplomacy” which is sponsored by the Korea Foundation and explores the core of the economic diplomacy between the EU and Korea. During the workshop, participating scholars will discuss the business cycle, trade, energy policies, and political-economic relations from various perspectives between the EU and Korea.

This workshop is an invite only event.
