Globalisation Studies Groningen
As of 2023, Globalisation Studies Groningen has closed its doors to make place for the newly launched Schools at the University of Groningen. Founded in 2012 as successor to the Centre for Development Studies, GSG looks back on twelve inspiring years of interfaculty, interdisciplinary and international research projects, education programmes and societal engagement. GSG would like to thank its founders, some of whom have remained GSG-Governor until this very year, our ten participating Faculties, including GSG’s penvoerder the Faculty of Arts, and the Board of the University for funding GSG. A special word of thanks goes to GSG’s past and current staff, whose dedication to GSG will now benefit other departments at the university. To those who have partnered and cooperated with GSG in the last decade: thank you for being part of GSG. Last but not least, GSG wishes the new Schools much success in their endeavors.
