The minds and methods of memory champions

Boris Nikolai Konrad is currently working at the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging in Nijmegen, where he investigates the neuronal basis of extraordinary memory performance. Previously, he had carried out research on this topic at the Max-Planck-Institut für Psychiatrie in München. Boris also performs, presents and competes on memory tasks, and is a coach and author for improved memory performance:
“Boris also frequently competes with other memory athletes at official world championships and currently hold 4 Guinness World records. He has also participated in many TV programs to demonstrate his memory capacity. At the start of his talk, he will also demonstrate his extreme memory capacity and will then discuss the techniques used, and findings from studies where volunteers trained mnemonic techniques for several weeks.”
