Carbohydrate Bioprocessing Facility
The Carbohydrate Bioprocessing Facility is equipped with dedicated infrastructure for research on carbohydrate bioprocessing, providing an academic platform for fundamental, competitive, and pre-industrial applied research on: i) enzymatic carbohydrate synthesis, modification, and degradation; ii) in vivo and in vitro synthesis of novel carbohydrates and tests for potential applications in food, non-food, and feed; iii) metabolic engineering of carbohydrate metabolism in microbes and plants.
