Clean Energy Transition Partnership Funding for Reducing Gas Emissions

Together with partners, Dr. Anatoli Mokhov of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (RUG) has received EU-NWO 'Clean Energy Transition Partnership' funding of 3 million euros to reduce gas emissions and avoid harmful flaring. The project, coordinated by high-tech start-up company Mitis (Belgium) focuses on non-catalytic reforming of methane and oxy-fuel combustion.
