Daniele Parisi

Daniele Parisi holds a PhD in Materials Science and Technology (2019) attained at the University of Crete within the Marie SkÅ‚odowska Curie training network “COLLDENSE” (Colloids of Designed Response). He owns a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering achieved at the University of Palermo (Italy) in 2015. Daniele was a postdoctoral researcher in both Materials Science and Engineering Department of the Pennsylvania State University (PSU) under the supervision of Prof. Ralph. H. Colby, and subsequently at the Foundation for Research and Technology in Greece (FORTH - Hellas) under the guidance of Prof. Dimitris Vlassopoulos.

Daniele Parisi is a Soft Matter experimentalist, with extensive knowledge of rheology, rheometry, and link between molecular structure, processing and ultimate mechanical properties of polymers and colloids. His current research interests focus on the use of supramolecular, and associative polymers to design materials with superior recycling, self-healing and tunable properties for medical and engineering applications. Bringing forward the knowledge of green polymers as substitutes of synthetic ones, as well as optimizing the unit operations in the polymer industry, also represent part of his research interests.

Welcome at ENTEG Daniele!
