About us FEB Research / FEB FEB Research Institute (FEBRI) Research programme EEF Spatial Econometric World Conference 2024 Groningen

Welcome to Groningen!

Fifty years ago, Jean Pealinck, Belgian by birth but working at a Dutch university, introduced the term “Spatial Econometrics". We want to celebrate this anniversary by looking back and forward fifty years at the XVIII World Conference of the Spatial Econometrics Association (SEA 2024) to be held in Groningen, the Netherlands: June 23-25, 2024.

Abstract submission:
It is not possible to submit an abstract anymore

We have received a wide range of abstracts, both quantitative and qualitative, to prepare a broad and rich program for the two-day conference in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of the term spatial econometrics. There are still a limited number of spots left. To give every interested researcher the opportunity to participate in this conference, the organizing committee has postponed the deadline for submitting an abstract to mid-February (15th February at the latest).
