Event-triggered control in complex networks

The event-triggered control for complex networks has become a hot topic and attracted great interests in recent years. The sampling instants of the control scheme are not determined by time-triggered mechanism, but by an event generator. This implies that the method has the advantage to reduce the communication between the controller, the actuators and the sensors in a control loop. This research is envisioned to combine nonsmooth analysis theory, hybrid control theory and other tools to develop novel control strategies that could cope with difficulties arising in control of complex networks. Design the control algorithms for the networks to realize the tasks of reducing the resource consumption of networks and improving the control performance as much as possible.
