Education

The probability and statistics unit is responsible for offering all courses covering probability, statistics and discrete mathematics in the BSc and MSc curriculum in (applied) maths as well as several "service" courses in other degree programmes. The courses we currently offer in the (applied) mathematics curriculum include Probability Theory (1st year), Discrete Mathematics, Stochastic Processes, Statistics, Asymptotic Statistics (2nd year), Statistical Modelling, Project Statistical Reasoning, Statistical Genomics (3rd year), Caput Statistics, Contemporary Statistics with Applications, Statistical Consulting (MSc).

Master's Thesis topics in the Research Group

If you are interested in a Master's thesis in one of the research areas of our group, contact one of the faculty members of the group for specific topics.

Bachelor Projects

The group offers Bachelor projects on a yearly basis through the regular topic announcements. If you would like to work on a special topic related to one of our research areas, contact one of the faculty members of the group.
