Title: Biomedical Engineering Innovations in Healthcare at the Centre for Biomedical Cybernetics

Abstract: In this talk, I will provide an overview of some of the latest biomedical engineering research from the Centre for Biomedical Cybernetics at the University of Malta, where we merge technology and healthcare to enhance patient well-being. Various projects will be explored, including our ongoing research on thermal analysis for diabetic foot health, contactless vital sign monitoring, and brain-computer interfacing, demonstrating how the application of signal processing, image processing, and machine learning techniques, can improve patient care.
