Visit Norwegian Ambassador

24 September 2020

Today we had the pleasure to have our first official face-tot-face meeting at the Arctic Centre since the start of the pandemic. We were honoured to be able to present our work to the Norwedian Ambassador of the Netherlands, Mr. Bård Ivar Svendsen, and the Embassy's advisor for Busines, Culture and Communication, Gerber van Erven.

In his previous position the ambassador was the Norwegian Ambassador for Arctic and Antarctic Affairs. n his early years, he has also worked in Svalbard as a Russian interpreter.

We hope this will be the start of a fruitfull cooperation.
