Annette Scheepstra speaks at ASM2
Arctic entre member Annette Scheepstra was one of the official Dutch delegates that was present at the second Arctic Science Ministerial meeting in Berlin.
She gave a presentation at the science conference on 24th of October in a panel session about awareness and ethics.
A day later, Minister Ingrid van Engelshoven signed a joint statement to improve Arctic Science Cooperation.
In her speech the Minister of Science and Education noted that the Netherlands is committed to continue the Netherlands Polar Program beyond 2020. The Netherlands is currently exploring ways to renew the program and looking for possibilities to even increase our ambitions in polar research.
