At AV Services, a department within the faculties of Arts, Law, Behavioural & Social Sciences, Religion, Culture and Society, our focus lies on providing high-quality audiovisual services that enrich the academic world. Currently, we are working on extending our expertise to support all faculties/departments within the RUG (University of Groningen) as well. We will keep you posted.

Our mission is to enhance your academic or administrative work or studies with providing innovative audiovisual solutions. Our services vary from creating engaging multimedia content to lending out AV equipment for educational and research projects, to organising unforgettable events and live shows. We are here to bring your vision to life.

Our multidisciplinary team, comprised of experienced professionals from various fields such as theater, film, and technology, ensures unparalleled service. With our recently launched AV Support team, we offer even more intensive support with facility issues in meeting rooms and lecture halls because your success is our priority.

AV Services consists of several components:

AV Support, you may have already seen AV support personnel on campus or perhaps you have utilized our services. AV Support has been operational from April 2023. Our goal is to provide more intensive assistance with whatever facility issues can occur in meeting rooms and lecture halls. AV Content, can aid you with all your video and graphic queries. Our team is able to support you in creating high-quality audiovisual content. Contact us via avcontent@rug.nl.

AV Events, offers support in all your events, live shows, and registrations. Our experts have years of experience in the theater and film industries and are ready to make your event a success. Contact us via avevents@rug.nl.

AV Front-desk, here students and staff can borrow AV equipment and receive advice on media usage in education and research. Furthermore, knowledge and support are available to handle the entire AV production process, from recording to the final product.
