Presentation of the European Commission DG FISMA Study on Irresponsible Consumer Credit Lending across the EU in the Post-Crisis Era
Olha Cherednychenko has been commissioned a study on irresponsible consumer credit lending across the EU in the post-crisis era by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA). On 19 April she presented the results of the study at the joint meeting of the DG FISMA and the Financial Services User Group (FSUG), recommending the revision of the 2008 Consumer Credit Directive in the light of the concept of responsible lending.
