First Lecture of Avril McDonald Memorial Lecture Series: may 31
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Malcolm Evans, Professor of International Law at Bristol University and Chairperson of the UN Sub-Committee on the Prevention of Torture, will come to Groningen to give a lecture on the occasion of the first Avril McDonald Memorial Lecture Series. The lecture is entitled 'Preventing Torture: the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture (OPCAT) in theory and in practice'.
The lecture will take place on 31 May 2012 in the Senaatskamer in the Academie building from 13:00 - 14:30.
